Reports are emerging of a suicide attack on a minibus carrying foreigners near the Afghan capital, Kabul.
At least six people are thought to have died in the bombing, which took place on a busy road leading to the airport, police said.
Kabul police chief Mohammad Ayoub Salangi told news agency AFP that there were "a lot of casualties".
Reporters at the scene counted six bodies - other reports say "at least nine" people have died.
Reuters reported that the bus was carrying foreign and local contract workers.
The news agency said that nine people had been killed, one Afghan translator and eight foreign workers for an international courier company, but this has not been confirmed.
Witnesses at the scene of the attack said there was smoke billowing into the sky and a heavy police deployment, causing queues of traffic along the motorway.
